Indications

Spagiric product based on plant extracts The average content of the main ingredients in a daily dose - 9 sprays, equivalent to 1.5 ml

Composition and description of plant components:

30% of propolis hydroalcoholic extract (water, alcohol, propolis resin), wild radish drug (Sisymbrium officinale (L.) Scop.) Hydroalcoholic extract of aerial parts (distilled water, ethanol, plant maintenance – 30%, grape juice), honey, essential oils: tea tree leaves (Melaleuca alternifolia Cheel), leptospermuma leaves paniculate (Leptospermum scoparium JRForst and G.Forst), eucalyptus leaves (eucalyptus globulus labill)

How to use: 3-4 spraying 3 times a day

Warning:

Keep out of reach of children under 3 years. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Registered in the EU as a dietary supplement. Clinical data about the high efficacy of PROPGOLA

On behalf of Erbenobili which is located in Corato (Bari)) C.da Torre Pavone ZI, we conducted an experiment to evaluate the microbiological protection exploring the antibacterial and antifungal activity of in vitro (test tube) two products that the company sells under the trade name «Erbenobili», such as «Propolis Fitomater» and «PropGola».

To make the experimental part, the company has provided us with two samples of products, in question, most of which are stored in the laboratory of the university department. According to the report provided to us by the products that were tested had the following composition (vol/vol).

Fitomater of Propolis 50 ml bottle: Propolis 200mg/ml;

PropGola 15ml bottle spray for the throat: Propolis 55%, wild radish drug 20%, 0.0015% tea tree oil 0.0015%, 0.0045% eucalyptus oil, oil from the tea leaves (lemon) manuka tree 0,0045%.

The experimental part was devoted to the determination of bactericidal and bacteriostatic effects for products with 6 bacterial strains of Gram-negative and Gram-positive microorganisms and two strains of fungi belonging to Candida Albicans mind

strains of bacteria and fungi from the international collections have been used microorganisms and fungi (ATCC) and partly from clinical isolates, recently obtained in the laboratory of bacteriology and mycology professor Maria Teresa Montagna (Faculty of Medicine, Department of Biomedical Sciences and Human Oncology)

Analytical Methods

The products were analyzed by a series of dilutions in duplicate (microdilution) in accordance with the procedures CLSI M27 - A2 and A6 CLSI M7 and dilutions were made in culture medium and Mueller Hinton bacteria or in RPMI medium for fungi, microorganisms were inoculated into microtiter plates and allowed to grow during the 24 hours at 37 ° In contact with the test product. Product dilution range was 1: 8 to 1: 512. Particular attention was paid to the presence of ethyl alcohol in the product (it is known that alcohol can have a bactericidal effect).

We evaluated the antimicrobial action of alcohol, which showed that with the percentages and the amounts that were used for this assessment, it is inactive. This evaluation was made by examining the growth of microorganisms as compared to the positive control in the absence of the product itself. In the context of the test was also used to perform a negative control with using of a well-known antibiotic (norfloxacin and fluconazole)

The results

The activity of this product, as opposed to other products of various companies that have been evaluated in the laboratory working in this sector, clearly manifested and expressed - both against fungi and against bacteria. Indeed, upon dilution of these two products up to 256 times, they continue to exhibit a high antibacterial and antifungal activity. In our experiments we were also showed high bactericidal and fungicidal activity at a dilution of 1:64, showing a pronounced tendency to the antimicrobial effect of the products is expressed in other dilutions.

In the past, this laboratory several times attempted to evaluate the products containing propolis, as an aerosol formulation or prepared by using of ethanol (other companies), there were no effects at the products in the stated concentration of propolis and antimicrobial action is not set.

Natural Medicine in Belarus. Conclusion

The analysis of data obtained from the studies carried out on the two on the basis of propolis products sold by Erbenobili (Erbenobili), leads to the following conclusions.

a) Both products have demonstrated the antibacterial and antifungal activity, which is presented to them at dilutions of up to 1: 256

b) The bactericidal and fungicidal activity optimally seen at a dilution of 1: 128.

c) In addition, it manifests a high antifungal activity against C. albicans. This is an important fact in the light of the disease, which can cause these organisms in the mouth.

d) In comparison with other products that have been tested in the past, demonstrated their undoubted effectiveness

In conclusion, we can say that these two products, judging by the results observed in our experiments, are supplements that have a disinfecting activity and antiseptic properties based on herbs.
